A collaborative and flexible workplace in a refurbished City of London building
St Martins Court, London
100,000 sq ft
MCM have been working with CBRE City Office in London to refurbish their 9-storey building based near St Pauls Cathedral.

A key purpose of the project was to explore how to achieve the aims of Workplace360 – CBRE’s new flexible workplace model developed in their LA office – in a building refurbishment project, the first of its kind worldwide.

MCM undertook an extensive consultation programme from which the project aims and detail brief requirements were developed. Working with the CBRE leadership team the ground floor was completely re-imagined as a flexible client and staff coffee, collaboration and event zone.Working floors were configured to create flexible team spaces supported by shared collaboration zones. The design enables client meetings to take place on working floors without compromising security.
The top floor of the building, which overlooks St Pauls Cathedral and other City of London iconic views, is now a state-of-the-art client meeting, dining and event space.

MCM’s workplace and design teams in partnership with CBRE’s workplace team have collaborated to ensure that translation between early project consultation and design delivery has been protected.

The project is only recently completed and is targeting SKA Silver environmental assessment.
