MCM were commissioned to carry out a full Cat A refurbishment of this 40,000 sq ft Grade II listed building in the West End. The property was vacated by the previous tenant and needed substantial refurbishment to get it back on the market to suit the needs of today’s occupiers and overcome a number of issues with the existing building layout.
The works included a complete refurbishment of an enlarged main reception, including structural alterations in order to open it out to an existing rear garden courtyard. Toilets were extended and fully refurbished to bring the building in line with current BCO recommendations.
Office floors were also completely modernised and redesigned. The existing retail unit and ground floor remained in occupation throughout the refurbishment.
